The Ballet Arkansas Staff and Board of Directors are proud to welcome you to this year's 10th Annual Turning Pointe Gala on March 5th from 6:00-10:00pm. The black-tie optional Gala is Ballet Arkansas' premier fundraising event, and your attendance/sponsorship supports world-class programs and performances that uplift, enrich, and inspire more than 30,000 Arkansans each year. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception and silent auction with live music from JAZZ R US, a seated dinner with live auction, signature performances by the professional dancers of Ballet Arkansas in the Wildwood Theater, and dessert, dancing, and a moonlit farewell with live music by the Dizzy 7 Band. We hope you'll join us for "Confetti," a celebration of Ballet Arkansas' 43 wonderful years as a pillar of the Arkansas arts community. It will be an evening to remember. Founded in 1978 as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation, Ballet Arkansas is proud to be the State's professional ballet company. Since this time, nearly half-a-million Arkansans have experienced a Ballet Arkansas performance. This July marks the 5 year anniversary of Michael and Catherine Fothergill, the organization's Artistic Directors. The Fothergills have transformed the organization's image and programming in an effort to revitalize the creative landscape of Arkansas. Ballet Arkansas now presents a repertoire featuring cutting-edge premieres and works by some of the world's most celebrated choreographers.
